A long-term owner for well-run service businesses.

Silver Strand Holdings is looking to acquire established, profitable companies that other businesses and households rely on, and to own and run them for the long term.

If you own a company and are thinking about what comes next, or you’re a broker with a listing that fits, we’d like to hear from you.

What we look for

If a business meets most of these, send it over. If it isn’t a fit, we’ll say so plainly.

Earnings
$750,000 or more in EBITDA. We also consider companies earning $300,000 to $750,000 when they fit alongside a larger acquisition.
How we count earnings
After paying a market salary for the owner’s role, so the figure reflects what the business earns without you in it.
Margin
EBITDA margin of 20% or more.
Revenue
Mostly recurring: service contracts, subscriptions or scheduled repeat work, with no single customer carrying the business.
Kind of business
Services customers can’t easily go without, run with modest equipment and capital spending.
Location
Anywhere in the United States.

How a sale with us works

You’ll know where things stand at every step. What you share stays with the two of us and, later on, the advisors and lenders working on the deal, all under confidentiality.

  1. A first conversation

A call with both partners. You tell us about the business and what you want for yourself, your team and your customers.

  2. Confidentiality, then financials

We sign a confidentiality agreement before asking for any financial statements.

  3. Indication of interest

A written, non-binding range of value and how we’d structure the deal, so you can decide whether to go further.

  4. Letter of intent

Price, structure, timing and your role after the sale, set out in writing.

  5. Diligence and closing

We confirm what we’ve learned about the financials, contracts and operations, then close.
